What is Good Leader?
Good Leader is someone with effective mechanism. He might be an institution through which citizen and/or groups of people articulate their interests, exercise their legal rights, to meet their obligations and mediate their differences if there were crises.
What would make him/her get the citizenry trust? They are as follows:
All men and women should have a voice in decision-making, either directly or through legitimate intermediate institutions. They should represent their interests on the capacity to participate constructively.
- Rule of law.
Legal frameworks should be fair and enforced impartially/biased, particularly the laws on human rights. Everyone should be seen equal to law of our land without favour for the high or rich.
This concept is built on the free flow of information. Due processes, institutions and information should be directly accessible to those concerned. Enough information should be provided. Hence, you will be building confidence and trust in the people you are leading.
Institutions, Religious Leaders and NGO should serve all stakeholders. They be quick response as issues arise.
- Consensus orientation.
Good governance, leader should mediate differing interests in order to reach broad consensus. However, on the best interests of the group and, or where possible, on policies and procedures.
All men and women should have equal opportunity to maintain or/and improve their well-being anywhere and anyplace in the country with no fear free from impunity.
Processes and institutions should produce results that meet needs while making the best use of resources.
A means whereby what one is doing be must be given access in order for him/her to achieve quickly and reach their goals. This will make them be willing to support the leaders with the quality track.
Decision-makers in leadership, the private sector and civil-society organizations should be accountable to the public as well as to institutional stakeholders.
This accountability differs depending on the organization and whether the decision is internal or external to an organization.

Leaders and the public should have a broad and long-term perspective in human development. One need to work in hand together with a sense of what is needed for such development.
