THE WORD IS ALIVE TO HEAL ALL SITUATIONS OF LIFE.
The word is one usually applied to a message coming directly from God.
THE WORD OF GOD HAS THE POWER TO HEAL
There is power in the Word of God. For example, there is the power of salvation to save (Rom 1:16), and even though it’s foolish “to those who are perishing to us who are being saved it is the power of God” (1 Cor 1:18). We also know that “the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart” (Heb 4:12)
“How can a young man keep his way pure? You guarding it according to your word. With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments! I have stored up your word in my heart, which I might not sin against you” (Psalm 119:9-11).
THE WORD CAN SANCTIFY YOU FROM THOUGHT
When you read the Word of God, it sometimes reads you, and the more you read the Word of God, the more it works in you, along with the Holy Spirit. Paul wrote that “we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers” (1 Thess. 2:13).
Holy Bible is a firm foundation. It is the word of God. It can never changed. Rather, it is a commentary on the state of my own heart and the many life circumstances that I bring to the throne of grace. Come to the sure and steady Word because it is the only firm foundation upon which we can stand. Nothing else compares, and nothing else assures our hearts like the word of God does. Nothing else points us to Christ like the Word, itself.
Numbers 23:18-23 English Standard Versions (ESV) says:
18 And Balaam took up his discourse and said,
“Rise, Balak, and hear this; give your ear to me, You son of Zippor:
19 God is not man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change His mind.
Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not fulfill it?
20 Behold, I received a command to bless: He has blessed, and I cannot revoke it.
21 He has not seen misfortune in Jacob, nor has he seen trouble in Israel.
The Lord our God is with them and the shout of a king is among them.
22 God brings them out of Egypt, the foreign land; He is for them like the horns of the wild ox.
23 For there is no enchantment; charm against Jacob, no divination against Israel;
now it shall be said of Jacob and Israel, ‘What has God formed; created!’
Come, let it strengthen your weary bones. Are you severely afflicted; come, the word of God will give you life, according to God’s word!” (Psalm 119:107).
Prophet Ezekiel prophecy to the valley of the dry bones of died men came to life. The word of God still carry the fire and power to heal, deliver or create whatever that is wrong in the Jesus’ Name: In Ezekiel 37:1-14, the Bible says:
37 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,
2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.
3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, You know it.
4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.
5 Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.
9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.
12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
13 And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,
14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith the Lord.
Come, let it grant you peace. “Great peace to those who love the law; nothing can make them stumble” (Psalm 119:165).
