Senior Special Assistant to the President on Education Interventions, Obafela Bank-Olemoh said the Federal Government of Nigeria through Federal Ministry of Education (FME) has provided two e-learning platforms.
For data-free access educational digital content to primary and secondary school pupils.
The e-learning solution is in addition to radio and television lessons being aired on government-owned
television and radio stations – NTA and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).
The 2 websites are as follows;
- schoolgate.ng, and
These could be accessed as data-free internet packages.
WHO WILL BE BENEFITED FROM THE ABOVE WEBSITES?
Pupils in both Primary and Secondary Schools across Nigeria due to novel COVID-19 pandemic.
However, parents would have a relief over data cost for e-learning researching as the government made provision.
